Happy 2019! We woke up and grabbed breakfast in the hotel lobby, dreading the drive back to North Carolina. We were planning to stop in Savannah, so that was something to look forward to. That and South of the Border. Yeah, not so much, that’s more of an iconic milestone that we’re almost home. It was a fun road trip home, which were sure you can relate to in some capacity.

Today was our last day in Cocoa Beach before heading to Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl. We had to pack everything up, but before hitting the road for two hours, we wanted to milk our time in the warm sun in Cocoa Beach. There was surf, a final visit to Ron Jon’s, and some lunch at the Tiny Turtle. Once we arrived Jacksonville, we checked into our hotel and went to the beach where things were chilly and foggy. It was another amazing day in Florida.

Saturday was our last full day in Cocoa Beach, Florida and we couldn’t ask for better weather. On tap today was some sweet morning surf, a gator tour, some local taps, and a great dinner at Fat Kahunas. Check out our adventures and don’t miss out on gators in the wild!

It was our last day in Puerto Rico for Spring Break. We had a completely different second half planned to go snowboarding and we were off to Denver later in the day. Another beautiful day in Rincon was on tap. An early morning surf session with some of the leftover swell was a great way to start the day. Then the family was all geared up for a morning sail on the Katarina and some snorkeling in the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve. Spring Break was so close we could taste it. Our travels would bring us to the warm waters and surf of the Caribbean in Rincon, Puerto Rico then to the mountain tops of the Rockies for snow boarding and skiing. But we had to get there first.
