A New Arrival at Ramsgate Manor

We’re happy to announce that Caitlyn “Coco” Kalani has made her arrival at Ramsgate Manor (our home). She came home last week and we’ve been slowly adjusting to our new routine with Coco in the mix.

As many of you know, Zander started school this week. He’s excited to be starting first grade, but he’s even more excited to be a great big brother and help us around the house with his little sister. He was aggressive at first, but he’s learning fast that Coco is still a very tiny baby and needs time to continue her development.

At her latest appointment, Coco Kalani is more than six pounds. She’s grown almost an inch. All good signs since she left Rex Hospital. She’s still eating every 3-4 hours. Merri Beth has been a champ at late night feeding, letting the rest of the household sleep somewhat soundly.

Right now, we’re still adjusting to having Coco at home. We’re concentrating on keeping her fed and healthy. We’re being a little cautious now about having too many visitors. Her original due date isn’t until three weeks from now and we continue to monitor her growth and progress.

I snapped the above picture earlier this week while I was working from home. It was really hard to not upload it to Facebook with the caption: “The best part about working from home is holding my baby girl.” But I saved it for this post so that you could enjoy it.

We’re so glad to finally have our little girl at home. Now, we just need her to grow, grow, grow.
