I’d been meaning to do an interview with the good folks at Raleigh Brewing Company for a while, but I haven’t had the time to check out their taproom and explore their business. So instead, my family and I stumbled upon the Raleigh Brewing one year anniversary this weekend. And it was awesome.
Nestled on the south side of Meredith College, Raleigh Brewing is located in an old industrial-like area at 3709 Neil Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27607. There is a really neat fencing facility also located there, which doesn’t require summer Olympics viewing to enjoy.
My family visited the Raleigh Brewing taproom on March, 15, 2014, which just happened to coincide with a celebration worth celebrating. As we arrived, we noticed quite a crowd outside and the Philly’s Cheesesteaks food truck serving up deliciousness.
We made our way inside to the taproom and started sampling a few of the Raleigh Brewing creations. Hell Yes Ma’am, House of Clay Rye IPA, and a few others beers. My son tried the fresh brewed root beer. We had a great time celebrating with Raleigh Brewing Company.
If you’re interested in one of their brewery tours, they occur on the first and third Saturdays at 3:00 pm. You can get the behind the scenes insight on where Raleigh Brewing Company brews its beers. The tours are $5.00 a person.
