On a perfect October evening in Raleigh, Artikal Sound System and Mouse Powell delivered an unforgettable night of Reggae Rock at Bowstring. Mouse Powell, hailing from Arizona and mentored by Katastro, kicked things off with his unique hip-hop-infused sound, dropping tracks like “Back against the wall,” “The score,” and an exclusive new song, “Don’t trip.” The energy was electric, setting the stage for the main event.
When Artikal Sound System hit the stage, the crowd went wild, especially when Logan sang “Oh No” and the band followed up with “When I wanna.” The real highlight came when Mouse Powell joined them for their collaboration on “Get me out.” The night took a surprising turn with a cover of Elton John’s “Rocket man,” and the set closed with “Batshit crazy” and the crowd-favorite “Self sabotage,” leaving everyone buzzing.
