I considered driving on through the night, but was tired from the spending the day at <a title=\"Boone DrupalCamp\" href=\"http:\/\/hibbets.net\/blog\/2010\/08\/28\/great-day-at-boone-drupalcamp\/\" target=\"_blank\">Boone DrupalCamp<\/a>. I caught up with MB and she showed me all the tailgating gear she got for the upcoming NC State football season (which kicks off next weekend).<\/p>\n<p>I set my alarm for 5:30 am, but woke up at 5. I was actually<!--more--> on the road (NC-64 East) by 5:30 am. I did good through Rocky Mount and Williamston, then as I approached Plymouth, the sun was rising, making my eyes squint&#8211;even with shades on, and it made me a little drowsy.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing a little Bo-time can&#8217;t fix. A pitstop for breakfast at Bojangles&#8217; and I was back on the road, no longer drowsy. I was on the beach with Rex checking the surf before 9 am in Nags Head and was disappointed in what I saw. Chest high waves, North East wind, high tide, and not really shaping up.
