Next Door has over three years of experience and it&#8217;s a valuable tool that can really help build community and get us to know each other as neighbors better.<\/p>\n<p>What I learned: 28% of Americans know none of their neighbors by name.<\/p>\n<p>Here is some information about another <a href=\"http:\/\/reid.serozi.com\/2013\/06\/nextdoor-explosion.html\" target=\"_blank\">Raleigh neighborhood<\/a> using Next Door that increased participation from 400 Google Group members to over 1,000 Next Door users.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact me if anyone in the neighborhood would be willing to be a co-admin for a potential Next Door pilot and then if it succeeds, continue on as an admin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I recently sent an email to the Lineberry Alliance list asking if folks would be interested in trying Next Door as a pilot to improve our community communications and as a way to get to know our neighbors better.
