Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina
Wrightsville Beach is a town full of surfers. This parking frenzy beach is the perfect place for a quick session between classes for a student attending UNC-Wilmington. But it's also just a few minutes from I-40 which makes it easily accessible to out of towners. I've hit the WB a few times with glass barrel perfection. Most of the time, conditions prevail, the wind is never right, or the tide makes it funky. Nevertheless, this is a really fun place to surf and the girls on the beach can take your mind off of a bad day of surf.
