Surf City Pier
Surf City pier is the quickest break to get to on Topsail Island. Located
straight over the bridge in Surf City on Highway 50, you can park at the Public Beach
Access near the pier or across the street. There is a good mix of surfers here - from
longboarders to short boarders, you should be able to find your fit.
Surf City Pier is best in the fall season. The wave is pretty easy, but when it's starts
getting too big, it's starts shutting down. The locals are nice and you'll usually see
some people from Wrightsville Beach fleeing the crowds.
