Nags Head, North Carolina

The town of Nags Head has an abundance of killer surf spots. From Barnes Street to Nags Head Pier, Nags Head has some very famous spots that hold their own. The sandbars here are well formed and always seem to have well defined line. When the surf isn't good, check out the largest sand dune on the east coast: Jockey's Ridge. Grab an old skateboard deck, put some windsurfing straps on it, and go sand boarding on the back side of Jockey's Ridge.

Nags Head is bordered by Kill Devil Hills to the North and Manteo (Roanake Island) to the West. To the South of Nags Head, you will find "Old Nags Head" as well as Bodie Island Lighthouse and Oregon Inlet.
