Cape Hatteras, North Carolina
If you're willing to commit to the drive (assuming you don't live there) then you can find awesome surf in the Buxton and Frisco areas. The most famous spot for surfers and tourists in Buxton, is the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The Lighthouse was recently moved away from it's old location, dangersouly close to the ocean, and successfully relocated ½ mile inland. Despite the fact the the Lighthouse moved, the surf remains and continues to provide surfers with stellar rides. I don't have too many pictures from these breaks because I'm too busy surfing when I'm at Cape Hatteras!
