Makapuu Point
We navigated our way to the East side of the island en route to Makapuu. We found ourselves on the Likelike Highway going over the beautiful Ko'olau Mountain Range. We finally arrived on the eastern most part of Oahu, Makapuu Point, where we parked the Jeep and took a hike up Makapuu Head to the Makapuu Lighthouse. The top peak lead us to magical views of Manana Island, Waimanalo Bay, and the Southeast coast of Oahu. We saw the stubby little lighthouse, nested along the cliff side.
